Ego 2019 Sangiovese in Barrique

Pure Merlot, withered in the vineyard left to over-ripen until the last weeks of October allowing selected grapes to reach optimal sugar content. Low yields and meticulous slow vinification with long skin contact ensure that all the nutrients in the skins are released into the wine resulting in a product full of structure. Bottles hand-signed by the producer. Lively, full ruby red color (unfiltered product), with good density. On the nose an explosion of ripe red fruit and jam accompanied by light spice. Pair with rich, succulent dishes.  

Warm on the nose important hints of pink pepper paired with oily meats and cheeses gives the maximum of its cleanliness and elegance.

A Syrah with fruity and spicy aromas with earthy and savory notes.

Old Merlot brought to full maturity in the vineyard, harvested late and aged in barrels.
